Doctoral student representatives

The doctoral elections were successfully held via electronic voting, and the results were sent to all ED Canbios students. We warmly thank all students for their participation and commitment to this democratic process.

Below is a brief presentation of each of them, so that you can get to know your doctoral representatives better.

Outside the lab, I somehow always end up as a student representative, probably because I genuinely enjoy helping others, organizing things, and creating a healthier, friendlier environment… or maybe because I talk too much during meetings :)). Over the past years, I’ve coordinated elected reps across Lyon, supported associations, and survived more university committees than any young scientist should reasonably face. But on a serious note, it’s something I truly care about and despite the chaos, I keep doing it because I genuinely love supporting students and building communities.

I’m running to be a PhD representative because I believe a strong, supportive community makes the PhD journey so much better. I love bringing people together, organizing events, improving communication, and being someone, students can turn to, whether it’s for advice, confusion about admin, or emotional support after a heroic experiment gone wrong.

If you ever want to chat, need help, or simply want to bond over failed experiments, I’m always here, preferably with coffee and a lot of snacks! And if you ever catch me singing in the lab or expressing my entire emotional spectrum through an army of tiny stickers, just know it’s my way of keeping the science vibes alive, feel free to join in. "Hello everyone,

I am currently completing my first year of a PhD at CRCL as part of the « Hormone Resistance, Methylation and Breast Cancer » team. My thesis project is « Development of a new therapeutic strategy to treat efficient specifically targeting the non-genomic actions of ERα ». I graduated with a Master's degree in Cancer Therapeutic Innovations in Oncology from Claude Bernard Lyon I University. I would like to be your doctoral representative for the next two years, which is why I am submitting my application.

I would like to represent our community of doctoral students in the doctoral school, defending our interests and improving our quality of life at work. I am very attentive and listen carefully to others. I would like to promote a caring and supportive working environment in which everyone feels supported. This involves disseminating information effectively, taking everyone's needs into account, and also creating links between doctoral students. In this role, I will act as a liaison between you and doctoral school. I will be proactive in suggesting potential improvements and will not hesitate to raise any issues that arise during doctoral council meetings. With my organisational skills and ability to work well in a team, I will highlight these qualities during the PhD students' day to ensure you have an enjoyable and collaborative experience.
