SFR Science Day - November 27, 2025

The Santé Lyon Est Federative Research Structure (SFR) held its annual science day on November 27, 2025, an event of particular relevance to doctoral students in the CanBioS program, who were able to learn about the latest biomedical research being conducted by teams in Lyon.

The day brought together all SFR stakeholders—doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, engineers, and researchers—to discuss a variety of topics, including cell biology, genetics and molecular biology, oncology, neuroscience, physiology, and nutrition.

The program included oral presentations by young researchers, poster sessions, feedback on SFR-funded R&D projects, a scientific review of the year, and opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange.

The day featured a plenary lecture by Prof. Justine Bacchetta and concluded with a friendly roundtable discussion, providing an opportunity for discussion and experience sharing.

CanBioS doctoral students were warmly invited to participate in this event in order to enrich their vision of translational research in Lyon and to meet the local scientific community.
